    • $15 14k ft jumps!!  Come join us for Birdman coaching and Demos, prizes, beach landings, videos, and seriously fun load organizing with the First School of Modern Skyflying in this weather / skydiving / party paradise.  We will meet on Feb 15 in Caracas Airport (CCS - Simon Bolivar), 3:00 PM local time in front of the American Airlines Counter inside the International Terminal.  Late arrivers can meet us in Higuerote Airport (DZ) anytime.

  •  Pan-American Skydiving Games Nov. 21 - 27, 2006

    • The Children of the Sky make it to this

           year's Pan-American games Nov. 21 - Nov. 27 2006... competitors join this competition

            from all over the Americas, including Colombia (host), Venezuela, Mexico, Brazil, Chile,

            Argentina, El Salvador, Venezuela, Guatemala and Cuba.  Come join us!! 

    • Modalities: 

      • Precision Landing

      • 4-way RW (relative work)

      • Freefly

    • This is by far, the most important skydiving event in the region, and a great opportunity to contact skydivers all over South and Central America. The competition is endorsed by Coldeportes – Colombia’s government organism for sports development, and the Colombian Olympic Committee. Covering the event will be local TV stations, Radio stations and personalities, local cable TV provider TV Cable, Fox Sports, ESPN, and Teleamiga Internacional.

    •  10-29-06  Flandes airport held the elimination round for the Colombian teams that will be participating in the 2006 Panamerican Games. During this round a press conference was held in the hangar with media from national TV stations and local radio stations. FEDEAEREOS (Colombian Federation of Air Sports) president Francois Latorre presented the event before the media, announced that he is attempting to hold the Games every two years, and invited the other countries to postulate as hosts for the 2008 Games. The media later interviewed a few skydivers. It was a great day of fun skydiving and precision landings.

Colombia that is!  Karen's Pizza third Freefly, Tandem, Cali boogie promises to be a blast! pack up, email ceo@childrenofthesky.com, and get awesome footage and fun jumps at one of the nicest DZs in South America  ....   Beautiful Cali women await in this city's amazing night life scene.  Check out the pictures of our visit to Cali here.        

       

  • COTS: Juan - Johnny - Cliff put up a marvelous display in Santa Marta Beach along with skilled local skydivers, including local TV star "Pirry" 7-1-2006

    • The Children of the Sky along with TV Star "Pirry" and skilled local skydivers make National news, national TV show appearance, ESPN and FOX sports news.

  • July 2006 Bird-man Record Germany:

    • Child of the Sky #6 Scott Campos set 2 records in Germany in a Wing-Suit flock! 

            "... the attempt went well. We got 69 instead of 70 wing suits out of the AN72 at one time and then next load    we actually got a 49 way flock so we set 2 wing suit records that day. It was an absolute blast and I suggest that you consider coming to next years event as it will be even better." Scott Campos COTS #6

  • COTS: Juan - Johnny - Cliff come back from treacherous expedition 6-27-2006 

    • Successful BASE expedition involving 15 hour, high altitude, low oxygen hikes, tent living, horse ridding, and mule packing made for a unique, amazing BASE jump.

  • Nationwide TV Commercial airs 6-21-2006 

    • Local Energy drink successfully launches today with a high impact TV commercial, in a gender never seen before in Colombia.  The Children of the Sky were there to make this product launch a historic success.  Congratulations Cliff and Jimmy on an amazing job!

  •  Media in the making    5-22-2006

    • Children of the Sky making news in this country:  Professional B.A.S.E. jumpers Jimmy Halliday (http://www.jimmyhalliday.com) and Cliff Ryder arrive in Bogota, Colombia to begin shooting of image changing - high impact publicity commercial for local soft drink.  BASE jumping, never done before in Colombia, will be shared with this new public.  All eyes are on these new visitors, as the adrenaline appetite increases
